Coldwater Fish

Goldfish are arguably the most popular pet fish. Sometimes housed in ponds outside or as a starter fish for young and old fishkeepers alike. They are now available in an array of colours and shapes (fancy Goldfish. One thing to always consider with keeping goldfish is they are quite messy fish for their size and capable of growing quite large. They do love food and can often be seen begging their owners to feed them. There are other ‘Coldwater fish’ than just goldfish - the correct term for these would be temperate fish. These are fish comfortable at lower temperatures usually somewhere between 4-18c check individual species requirements before mixing to be sure they are kept in correct conditions.
