Invertebrates
To be an invertebrate means to lack a backbone or spinal column. In fact, inverts lack bones altogether. This group is one the oldest on our planet and therefore the most diverse group. They account for 95% of the animal species on earth. This huge array of choice and variety coupled with their alien-like appearance and behaviour is what makes them so addictive to keep. Inverts are usually fairly small and range from the harmless millipede scavenging its way through the forest floor to giant goliath bird-eating spider. There is something for everyone. Care requirements range from the very easy-going species to some which prove extremely challenging even for the most seasoned keeper. We stock a range of species to suit the appetite of fellow invert enthusiasts or newcomers alike.
